GeForce 8800 GT has been showered with praise for its excellent price/performance ratio, but also criticized for its high temperatures and poorly working fan handling. The auto setting simply doesn't work very well. EVGA decided to fix this and has posted BIOS updates for its cards now. The update will make the fan spin up faster, which will make the card a bit louder, but overall you will get a cooler and healthier computer. You can fetch the BIOS update from the EVGA forums.
