Radeon HD 3870 is on display at CES in Las Vegas right now, but unfortunately looking is all you get. But as always when it comes to pre-launch information we can trust our fellow Asians to leak and post information about not yet launched products. This time it's ITOCP, where a user has posted not only pictures of a bare R680 card, but also a 3DMark 06 run where the card scores 9573 points. Not very impressive until you realize that the system was running with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.
The card kept cool too, reaching only 60°C under load. The core was running at 770MHz and the 2x512MB memory at 2250MHz.
Unfortunately, the remaining system is unknown.
