We've been waiting for the Yorkfield C1 stepping for some time and we're going to have to wait some more. According to a recent news post, the C1 stepping is slated for early March. The source says that it's Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 which will be updated to C1, but we would rather assume it would be a new model. Even though it has no competition what so ever from AMD, if Intel would keep the QX9650 alive that long it would be some sort of a record for an Extreme model to remain king of the hill and the top model from Intel. C1 is basically a tune-up, no major changes.
