Abit IP35P - Extreme Overspeed ... or not

abit's latest motherboard goes as far as to claiming to be sport "Extreme Overspeed". abit IP35P is designed for overclocking and supports Intel's latest 45nm processors. The board is based on the P35 chipset from Intel, but for some reason abit has chosen not to use solid state capacitors, something which is more or less default with any kind of enthusiast-oriented product. The Extreme Overspeed seems to refer to the possibility to overclock DDR2 to 1066MHz. To be perfectly frank, we're not so sure this is something to brag about.

It does have the EZ CCMOS switch on the rear I/O panel, but other than we're disappointed by extensive focus on "great overclockability" in the press release.
