Corsair has announced the next model of the HX power supply series. This is Corsair's first 1000W power supply, but the emphasize is on the 3-way SLI certifications, the first sub-1100W to receive it. Corsair HX1000 sports dual transformers, a genuine dual-channel design and high quality solid state capacitors. For cooling there is a temperature-controlled 140mm fan, which should keep both temperatures and noise at a minimum.
More information on Corsair HX1000 should appear within a week as CeBIT Hanover opens up. The price is $279.99 and it comes with a five year warranty.
