Stories are going around that Sony is about to unleash a new version of PlayStation 3 in the US. The console has the model number CECHH01, and have been suggested to be a new ceramic white model for the American market. Looking at the FCC site it sure seems like it (pictures here and here). We did some digging and what we could find is that it also features a new motherboard, or at least a refined such. We will just have to wait and see what new innovations Sony has implemented with this version, but according to some sources, the model should arrive as soon as Sony empties out the stock of Spider-Man 3-bundled kits.
