The KDE project has announced a new minor update to the K Desktop Environment. Version 4.0.2 brings bug fixes, but also new features to the Plasma panel. You can now reconfigure it to sit elsewhere than the bottom of the screen, and change the size of the panel. Other than that, there are numerous performance improvements and two language updates; Persian and Icelandic. KDE 4.0.2 is mainly a maintenance update and can be downloaded from KDE.org. Change log here.
