A few weeks ago, TheInq posted a story claiming that Intel is putting pressure on NVIDIA to get SLI on Intel chipsets, otherwise NVIDIA wouldn't get a QPI license. That's just not true. NVIDIA will be ready to launch chipsets for Nehalem late this year and Intel has no intention of stopping them. The fact that SLI will remain exclusive to NVIDIA chipsets doesn't matter. Fact is that, TheInq was also flinging FUD with the rumors on the SLI and Yorkfield issues too. NVIDIA just cheaped out on the components back then.
