We previously reported about how the drivers limited the performance of the coming GeForce 9800GTX. Just moments later, new drivers leaked and they were specifically designed to bring the performance of the GeForce 9800 series up to what we would expect from it. After seeing some tests with the new drivers, we can only conclude that they are working well. Based on this, GeForce 9800GTX will become the new single-GPU king of the hill, now that the GeForce 8800 series has reached the end of the line. We would like to see some new tests with GeForce 9800GX2 and the new drivers, as the first review was a bit wobbly.
