GeForce 8800GTS 512MB has been a quite popular product because of its good performance and still pretty decent price, but now that NVIDIA has unleashed GeForce 9800GTX there's really no reason for 8800GTS to be around anymore. The card offers less features (no 3-way SLI, older PureVideo HD, no HybridPower, worse overclocking, etc.) than the newer relative, but it's basically the same core and same performance clock to clock. Whether there will be an 9800GTS is a bit uncertain for now, but at least 8800GT will be around for a bit longer.
