NEC unveils 22.5" Full HD LCD module
Written by Andreas G 15 April 2008 16:57

NEC LCD has announced a new 22.5" full HD LCD module. That means 1920x1080 pixels at only twentytwo and half inches, there are not many monitors out there capable of that. Beside the resolution, it sports a brightness of 460 cd/m², 800:1 contrast ratio and 12ms response time. Even more impressive is the wide color gamut that covers 97% of the NTSC spectrum, the 10-bit driver and 120Hz frame rate. The UA-SFT technology enables an ultra-wide viewing angle of 176° and minimizes the color shifts that appear at odd angles.

"The introduction of the new 22.5-inch high-definition LCD is further evidence of NEC LCD Technologies’ longstanding dedication to providing advanced display solutions that meet the sophisticated requirements for high-end monitor applications such as high-performance motion picture monitors," said Hidetoshi Usui, department manager in charge of product planning and marketing, NEC LCD Technologies, Ltd.
