
Windows Service Pack 3 is getting closer to release and Windows Update now that Microsoft has announced that the update has reached been Released to Manufacturing (RTM). This means that Windows XP SP3 is ready to be launched on the retail market and sent out to OEM partners, while Microsoft is going over the last few pieces before releasing the update via Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center. The information posted by Chris Keroack, head of launch of WinXP SP3, at Microsoft's own forum, points to a public launch on April 29.
