
The official name of the Tylersburg chipset has been confirmed to be X58. The enthusiast motherboard housing the X58 chipset, three DDR3 channels, LGA1366 socket and ICH10 southbridge has been code-named Smackover, which isn't as cool as Bonetrail, Skulltrail, BadAxe as the rest but good enough. It seems Intel has come up with the retail name for Smackover, and not surprisingly it's DX58SO, where SO supposedly stands for 'Significant Other', a bit of humor from Intel. If you've seen the pictures of Smackover, you know that it hide some humorous details. Otherwise, look below;
