MSI Wind and ASUS Eee PC are set to square off in Q2, but already Japanese PC Watch has published an article where the two go to battle. MSI Wind is based on Intel's new Atom CPU paired with the 945GC chipset, while Eee PC 900 is built on a Celeron M 353 (900MHz) and the 910GML chipset. MSI Wind also has a faster harddrive, faster memory (667MHz vs. 400MHz) and faster graphics (945G vs. 910G), but it seems that the 1.33GHz Atom processor is still slower than the 900MHz Celeron M CPU. The most noticeable difference is the faster harddrive, but other than that they are fairly even throughout the test.
