Arctic Cooling has announced another Xtreme cooler, but this time it's not a graphics card cooler, but a new model of the Freezer series. The Freezer Pro has been a real hit for Arctic Cooling, much thanks to its competitive pricing and decent performance. Freezer Xtreme isn't very likely to have the same faith as it's target audience is more on the high-end side. Freezer Xtreme is huge. It's a tower cooler with 102 tightly packed fins and four dual-sided heatpipes running through them, down to the base and up again. The construction is said to be capable of cooling up to 160W.
It comes with a quiet 120mm PWM fan (800-1500rpm), weighs 608g, and is covered by a 6-year warranty. It will be available in July, and the MSRP is $39.95 and 25.95€ (excl VAT).
