Cooler Master is the first company to announces a power supply certified with the 80 Plus Silver badge. With the new UCP 900W (Ultimate Circuit Protection) model Cooler Master has achieved a typical efficiency of 88% (50% load) and an average efficiency of 86.5%, the highest yet. The secret is supposed to be an innovative circuit board design and superior components. There was no information on when or how much the power supply will cost, but it will most likely appear at Computex next month, along with some other news from Cooler Master. We know others are planning similar power supplies, and we can tell you that ASUS will present something out of the ordinary in this field during Computex.
