A bit surprisingly, Gigabyte has revealed a new GPU of the Radeon HD 3000 series, Radeon HD 3950. Alas all we have is the name from the placeholder. It doesn't say much useful, mainly marketing phrases (supports PCIe 2.0, DirectX 10.1, OpenGl 2.0 and so forth), but of course also the name of the Gigabyte card; GV-R395-512H-B, that the card sports the so far unknown Radeon HD 3950 GPU. We would assume it's based on RV670, but right now there is no way of telling. We can only wait and see if this is a Gigabyte initiative or if AMD is perhaps planning a new card to empty out any left-over supply of RV670.
