GeForce GTX will launch in two flavors, GeForce GTX 260 and the flagship GeForce GTX 280. NVIDIA partners will of course have a whole bunch of different cards ready at launch, all offering various unique features. Although, we seriously doubt that anyone is going to launch as many as EVGA. According to Donanimhaber, EVGA is planning to launch a whopping 10 different models of GeForce GTX, five of each GPU. The cards will be anything from pure reference cards to seriously overclocked cards and special models using water cooling.
We're eager to see how EVGA will market its many new models, chances are that the buyers are going to get confused by the big amount of cards. There's no doubt that EVGA wants to cover the entire spectrum of GeForce GTX buyers, but maybe this is going a bit too far?
