Acme GTS370: "portable" with triple 17" displays
Written by Andreas G 13 June 2008 23:24

PC builder Acme Portable had a couple of new products to show at Computex in Taiwan earlier this month, and one of the more intuitive products was called GTS370. This "portable" PC was certainly unique in its design since it's more or less a computer with carry handle. The system has all of the necessary components integrated into a single shell, but also a set of monitors. GTS370 namely comes with no less than three 17" LCD panels which unfolds into a wide panorama display of 3840x1024 pixels.

Acme Portable had a couple of "cube systems" available, but GTS370 seems to be the flag product and it certainly stands out. A unique system, but the pictures posted over at AVING shows that maybe, just maybe, Acme should have spent a dollar or two more on the design. The price will probably be something astronomical, but on the other hand, it seems like GTS370 will a rare sight. A big plus for the innovative idea though.
