This is the first event in many years that we at NordicHardware have chosen not to sponsor the event. That doesn't mean you couldn't feel our presence though, because staff writer Robert 'crotale' Kihlberg and former writer Marcus 'Kinc' Hultin, both known as two of the most prominent extreme overclockers on the planet, were there to overclock the very latest hardware. This year they had some competition from German overclocker no_name from Awardfabrik.de. No_name started out strong with two world records (Extreme, Performance) and two second places (Entry, High) in 3DMark Vantage the first day (saturday), but we know that he's not going to keep them for long.
No_name used a pair of BFG 9800GX2 to claim these records, of course cooled by liquid nitrogen. He used an XFX 790i and Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 overclocked to 5460MHz. Since he was there with Mushkin he was also using Mushkin memory, Mushkin DDR3 16000@ 1820 7-6-6-16-1T and Mushkin 800W single-rail power supply.
We managed to snap some pictures of his single-card runs earlier today;

Then we have our in-house overclocker crotale and fellow overclocker Kinc who have been using an ASUS Striker II Extreme and a different pair of graphics cards. We can't tell you anything more at this time. You will simply have to wait until tomorrow. Below are some pictures of the preparations;
