AMD 790GX 33% faster than 780G, integrated graphics just gets better and better
Written by Andreas G 09 July 2008 22:52

When AMD launched the 780G chipset they had one big goal and that was to make integrated graphics powerful enough to offer playable performance with even the latest games. We dare to say that they achieved playable performance with many of the most recent games. Intel and NVIDIA was left eating big piles of dust and now that Chilehardware has posted some figures with the coming 790GX chipset, the difference is almost embarrasing.

According to AMD and the slide posted by CHW, 790GX outperforms 780G by 33% and when compared to NVIDIA's GeForce 8200 chipset and Intel's G35, the AMD chipset truly shines.
