OCZ announcs ALchemy series - Elixir gaming keyboard
Written by Andreas G 14 July 2008 21:19

OCZ has always been an enthusiast-oriented company, but it has released products geared toward gamers from time to time. It has now launched a whole series of products that should appeal even more to the gaming people, it's called Alchemy. The first member of the Alchemy family is the Elixir keyboard, which offers most of the gaming-related features you usually find with these kind of keyboards. Among others, 10 programmable macro-keys, rubber-coated keys and an extra USB port. OCZ has gone with a black color theme with blue details, matching the Alchemy logo.

OCZ also points out that the Alchemy series isn't just for the extreme users. It actually claims that the target consumer is the budget user, which certainly adds a lot to this unveiling. The Elixir keyboard has an MSRP of $29.99, which does put it at a very competitive price point considering the amount of features.
