NVIDIA has announced that Intel and NVIDIA has reached an agreement on how to solve the SLI on X58 issues. It somehow looked like Nehalem and Bloomfield specifically was going to CrossFire-only for a while, I'm certain AMD wasn't exactly crying, but things have been, kind of, solved now. They're simply going back to the solution they had with Skulltrail. They fit the X58 motherboard with an additional NF200 SLI chip. This will enable users to use up to three GeForce graphics cards in the same Bloomfield setup. This means that there will be motherboards where you will have the ultimate freedom of choice, CrossFireX and SLI.
