ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ ZONE Edition with built-in water cooling
Written by Andreas G 06 August 2008 21:29

ZOTAC has released a new flavor of GeForce 9800GTX+ with water cooling from factory. It is called ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ ZONE Edition. It comes with pump, radiator, hoses and fan already plugged in. It's nice to see that there is still a market for preinstalled water cooling kits. What a bit interesting is that the card is in fact not overclocked, but comes with reference 9800GTX+ frequencies. But since the card is water-cooled there should be plenty of room for improvement. ZOTAC emphasizes that this is the only way to cool your graphics cards with water and still have your warranty intact.

"Many users seek to quiet their systems. Previously, our ZONE Edition models were limited to our ZOTAC GeForce 8-series, with the new ZOTAC GeForce 9800 GTX+ ZONE Edition, we’re able to deliver NVIDIA GeForce 9 graphics technology to quiet computing users. And because the water-cooling unit is self-contained, customers can have the high performance and quiet operation of water-cooling without the hassles of regular maintenance or installation, which often voids the factory graphics card warranty." - Carsten Berger, marketing director at ZOTAC International
