Cowon launches sexy media player - S9 Curve
Written by Andreas G 25 August 2008 22:15

Cowon is a well known Asian media player manufacturer, also known as iAUDIO here in Europe, and during IFA 2008 in Berlin, Cowon decided to unveil some new goodies. The most interesting model is called Cowon S9 Curve, a player that puts design first. Few media players looks this good on camera and with the, not so unexpected curvy lines, it certainly grabs your attention straightaway. Cowon has integrated 3.3" AMOLED display seamlessly on the front of the player and through touchscreen technology the whole player becomes a minimalistic wonder work.

Whether the picture quality will hold the same standard as the design is a bit hard to say, but the specifications at least looks nice. The 3.3" display has 480x272 pixel resolution and can show up to 16 million colors. Under the hood is a dual-core 500MHz processor powering the features of the player, among others T-DMB digital TV tuner, Bluetooth, FM radio, TV output and 40 hours of battery time.

Cowon has been restrictive with the information regarding the price and availability, but at least we have some pictures to show to kill the wait.
