Internet Explorer 8 has been released as a new beta and now that Microsoft has made IE8 Beta 2 available to the public, it brings a whole lot of news since the last version. Except from WebSlices, Activities, Automatic Crash Recovery, which were some of the more interesting additions to IE8 Beta 1, Microsoft has raised the bar with features like InPrivate Browsing, where you can browse the web without any of the sites ending up in the History. Other news is Search suggestions that in realtime, while typing, offers suggestions in both text and pictures.
They've improved the tabbed browsing with Internet Explorer 8.0 where related pages are opened up side by side, and with color codes that makes it easier to see which tabs and sites that are connected. One of the few features we haven't seen in Firefox before.
All of the new features in Internet Explorer 8 have been described more extensively over at Microsoft's IE8 website where there is also download links for the new Beta 2 version. IE8 Beta 2 is available for all current Windows platforms from Windows XP to Vista x64 and Windows Server 2008.
