Samsung X360 - the real Air killer?
Written by Andreas G 01 September 2008 22:56

Samsung X360 is latest in the row of superslim laptops that through  a 13.3" display will go up against Apple and MacBook Air. Samsung has spent a lot of time and money designing this beauty and we dare to say it has done a good job. Even though X360 is slightly bigger than MacBook Air, Samsung's creation is actually lighter. The differences are small, both the measurements and the weight, but Samsung has more up its sleeve.

First of all, Samsung has put a lot of work into the connectivity. Samsung X360 has HDMI and VGA outputs, 3 USB ports, 7-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and 802.11n WLAN. Other exciting features include LED-backlit display, 1.3 Megapixel web camera and the possibility of getting a 128GB SSD. A tad bit more than what Apple offers with Air.

It sports an Intel Centrino 2 Ultra Low Voltage processor that will give the computer up to 10 hours of battery time and the only thing missing is the price. It won't be cheap, but so is none of these superslim, powerpacked laptops. Other than that we're impressed by Samsung X360 and we hope to see more of this stylish laptop in a not too distant future.
