Xbox 360 price cuts paying off
Written by Andreas G 01 October 2008 21:02

Microsoft have been cutting prices of its video game console Xbox 360 at an aggressive rate and it finally seems like the sales have taken off. GfK Chart Track claims that sales are up by 214 percent since Microsoft lowered prices of the three different models available in Europe. This means that Xbox 360 outsold PlayStation 3 by 63% during September in the UK, 2.3 million units vs. 1.4 million. The undisputed market leader is still Wii that sold a whopping 3.6 million.
