PlayStation 3 naked

PlayStation 3 is probably the most powerful video game console today. The hardware residing beneath the shiny exterior can output some truly impressive graphics, something a lot of the gamers out there can confirm. What they don't know is what it looks like on the inside. Over at HardwareSecrets they decided to find out. They've dissected a PlayStation 3 console and goes into detail on what the various components are for.

They call it the anatomy of PlayStation 3 and take a closer look at everything from the famous Cell processor to the power supply, Blu-ray player and motherboard that connects everything. An interesting read for those who wants to know more about the inside of Sony's video game console and the hardware hiding there.
