Dell Inspirion Mini 10, next generation netbook?
Written by Andreas G 11 January 2009 12:44

Dell has been showing off a number of products during CES in Las Vegas and one of them is the coming netbook Inspiron Mini 10. As the name indicate it is Dell's first 10" netbook, but luckily that is far from all that is new with the coming ultraportable budget computer. According to Dell's short and vague list of specifications the 10" display use 16:9 widescreen format and 720p resolution (1280x720 pixels) which is paired with everything from an integrated TV receiver and 3G WWAN/GPS support.

The outer measurements are said to be slim and its claims that both display and keyboard take advantage of the full width of the computer. At the same time Dell will deliver Inspiron 10 in a variety of colors and other popular themes spawning from the in-house design studio.

Under the hood it is once again Intel's Atom Z530 processor that can be found and even if we certainly prefer the higher resolution we can only hope that there is a decent graphics circuit in there to empower it. NVIDIA Ion perhaps?

We look forward to hearing more about Dell's coming mini 10 that certainly has the potential of raising the bar another notch for netbooks.
