Toughpower Ultra Slim powers all notebooks
Written by Andreas G 19 April 2009 21:15

The perhaps most annoying necessity of modern notebooks and mobile devices in general is that they often require an external power source. It’s not just the long cables and an AC adapter that takes up unnecessary space. Rarely they can be used with different unit, which means that in the end you have a whole bunch of power adapters to carry along taking up space and being mistaken for each other. Component company Thermaltake has now launch a new universal power adapter that is meant to work with more or less all notebooks.

Toughpower Ultra Slim sports 65W capacity and deliver current at 15V, 16V, 18V, 19V, 20V, and 21V. The power adapter offers 82% efficiency at full load and measures 75 x 17.8 x 140mm. It weighs 214g and ships with eight different DC power outputs for maximal compatibility.
