AMD has announced the next wave of socket AM3 processors, all in all 14 new models looking to cooperate with DDR3 memory. Among the new processors we find models from two to four cores divided into AMD's Phenom II and Athlon II families. All of the new models are made at the 45nm node and this has enabled AMD to revise the power consumption. Previous models of the Phenom II X4 900 series have been quite hungry with TDPs of 125W, but these new models are almost twice as efficient.
Eight of the processors are apart of AMD's e series and the "e" suffix reveals that these are extra energy efficient. Among these we find two Phenom II X4 CPUs working in the 65W TDP envelope.

The new e series covers AMD's entire assortment of processors, from the quad-core Phenom II processors to the dual-core budget Athlon II family, making AMD's new Socket AM3 processors a lot more interesting for smaller systems as well as the more gaming oriented systems.

With specified TDP envelopes between 45W-65W these are quite different from previous Socket AM3 processors. Noteworthy is that the new tri-core models of Athlon II X3 e series are possibly unlockable, just like the previous Deneb-based X3 processors.
The fastest models of the e series operates at 2.5GHz and if want to go higher you will have to look for the other models AMD has announced.

The other 6 processors are specified to work within the 65W and 95W TDP envelopes and operate at frequencies up 3.1GHz. The new Phenom II X4 925 models sports a clock frequency of 2.8GHz and even though it operates at the same frequency as the Socket AM2+ equivalent Phenom II X4 920 the TDP is set 30W lower.
Prices have not been revealed yet, but we can expect the new energy efficient models to appear next month, possibly costing around $100 more than the regular models.
