Gigabyte Odin GT delivers 1200W through modular cables
Written by Andreas G 14 May 2009 19:30

Gigabyte is perhaps best known for its motherboards and graphics cards, but just like many other component manufacturers Gigabyte has a broad repertoire of power supplies. Gigabyte is about to launch a new model of the Odin GT series that will take the Odin GT series into the 1kW era. Gigabyte's latest Odin GT power supply is rated at 1200W and 80% plus efficiency. The power supply is SLI certified and is cooled by a 140mm fan.

The four 12V rails delivers power through modular cables which enables the user to minimize the cable mess inside the computer. Just like the other models of the Odin GT series the power supply has a USB connection for surveillance.
