Component maker XFX focuses on graphics cards, but also makes motherboards for multiple platforms. In Decembers rumors were going around that it would broaden with AMD-based products, which later turned out to be true, and now comes the next fresh venture. This time it is a completely new group of products, namely power supplies. Unsurprisingly, XFX will launch a power supply intended for enthusiasts at Computex next month.
XFX 850 Black Edition is rated at 850W and will use a single 12V rail at 70 Ampere. The power supply has been 80 Plus Silver certified, while it will remain cool and quiet thanks to the 135mm fan.

The power supply uses modular cables all the way through and has been given a rather aggressive and industrial design with a clear XFX feel to it.

Even if we have acquired pictures of the unit and some rather detailed specifications we will have to wait a bit longer for price and availability.
