Motherboard maker ECS is best know for its sizable portion of the OEM market but have made attempts to get into the retail market. When Intel launches the new Core i5 family of processors ECS have made sure to be ready. At Computex it will show some of its latest motherboards where at least one will be a part of the enthusiast geared Black Series.

ECS P55HA is built around the Intel P55 chipset and supports Intel's LGA1156 socket where Core i5 processors will be found. The motherboard use a single-chip design and offers full support for Intel's Lynnfield processors.

Among the features we see two PCIe x16 slots, 14 USB 2.0 ports, 6 SATA 2.0 ports and four DDR3 memory slots. The motherboard uses solid state capacitors and comes with ECS overclocking software M.I.B II.
