Dell Studio 14z is a notebook sporting a 14" LCD display and places itself in the segment right above the netbooks and superthin notebooks. Dell Studio 14z focuses more on competitive prices, but also performance. Dell has chosen to lend a hand from NVIDIA during the making of the latest Studio model and the graphics is boosted by the popular GeForce 9400M chip.
With NVIDIA's integrated solution Dell can achieve considerably better graphical performance than with Intel's integrated equivalents and with a number of processor alternatives to choose from you can make your Studio 14z pretty quick despite the mere size.

The 14" LED backlit display can be had with either 720p or 900p resolution in 16:9 format, but it also sports HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for larger screens.
Studio 14z is 3cm thick, which is still fairly thin, and can be had in six different colors, prices start at above $600.
