Written by Andreas G 04 June 2009 19:00

Patriot Memory has launched the new Viper II DDR3 series with modules of 2GB capacity. Patriot launches both dual channel and triple channel memory kits with the new modules. Frequencies start at respectable 1600MHz and goes up to 2000MHz. The triple channel kits achieve these speeds at 1.65V to make sure they don't anger Intel's Core i7 processors and does it with pretty aggressive timings, 8-8-8-24. The dual-channel kits targets AMD's platform, feeds 1.9V and even tighter latencies, 7-7-7-20.
