EVGA hasn't missed the success ASUS pulled off with its mATX motherboard Rampage II Gene for the Core i7 series. Despite the small format the motherboard sports loads of features and overclocking potential that that you usually expect only from full-size ATX-motherboards. We have noticed how several manufacturers have followed and now its time for eVGA to do the same with its own mATX model with the X58 chipset.
EVGA X58 SLI Micro is the name of the board and it looks to attract the enthusiasts. The motherboard has six DDR3 memory slots while the power circuity consists of analog 6-phase PWM chips like the one it uses with its high-end ATX models.
At the same time, it comes with two PCI-Express x16 slots with enough space between them to install two dual-slot card without them interfering each other.

When eVGA will let loose its mATX motherboard we don't know but of the price is right it could become an interesting alternative to the other mATX motherboards available.
