iPhone 3G S outsell expectations
Written by Andreas G 23 June 2009 21:27

Apple has taken the smartphone market by storm and now that the third generation iPhone is here many more have chosen to get one. Apple has announced that it took three days to sell 1 million iPhone 3GS phones, while 6 million users have downloaded the iPhone 3.0 operating system during the first five days. This widely exceeds expectations of 500,000 sold phone the first weekend, according to analyst belief.

One thing that Apple has done a lot better with the third generation launch is the global availability. More operators have been allowed to sell the phone and the next wave of countries should get their phone on July 9th.
