Written by Andreas G 28 June 2009 11:57

Intel's Lynnfield processor family will launch in September, split up between the Core i5 and Core i7 series. all Lynnfield processors have in common that they use Intel's new LGA1156 platform and Intel's P55 chipset. Most motherboard manufacturers have already displayed most of their coming P55 motherboards, for example ASUS Maximus III Formula we shared some details on earlier. Intel has now revealed no less than four P55 motherboards of its own.

Intel has added four new motherboards of the 5 series at the Download Center, the four new models use the P55 chipset and is named as follows;

Intel has not revealed any details on its new motherboards nor what makes them different from one another. Previous differences have included with and without integrated graphics, but with the LGA1156 platform it's the processors that carries the graphics, which should make it harder to separate the motherboards.
