Mechanical Keyboard Comparison
Written by Andreas G 30 September 2009 20:03

The majority of modern keyboards are made from plastic and rubber, making experienced nostalgic shiver. Centuries ago we have mechanical keyboards and even if plastic was widely used they had a lot more advanced and costly solutions for the key construction. It wasn't all that uncommon for keyboards to cost $100 and more twenty years ago, but many still work well today.

At Benchmarkreviews.com they have done a trip back in time and compared the old mechanical keyboards that according to some are still the best alternative for anyone truly serious with his or hers typing.

The comparison include classics like IBM Model M and Unicomp Customizer 104, but also some models with old genes in a new appearance like Das Keyboard.
