MSI Afterburner for graphics card overclocking
Written by Andreas G 01 October 2009 21:21

MSI has released a new application for users looking to overclock their graphics cards. MSI Afterburner is based on RivaTuner, which is one of the best and most frequently used software for graphics card overclocking and tweaking. MSI Afterburner is limited to working with MSI's own graphics cards, but the application is at least free of charge.

The program enables users to overclock GPU, shaders and memory and those with cards from MSI's Lightning series can also set the voltages. Other than that there is also monitoring of temperatures and fan speeds to voltages and clock frequencies.

You can switch between different profiles that can also automatically switch between 2D and 3D modes. More information and download links for MSI Afterburner can be found here.
