Since TSMC changed the contract terms with the latest manufacturing technology, and the current lack of capacity has led many of their partners to explore other manufacturers. It has now been said that the company provides NVIDIA and Qualcomm priority on the new technology.

MSI GeForce GTX 670 is one of the first real life proofs for that NVIDIA is near launching a new entry model in the Kepler family. As a reduced version of GTX680 it is not a budget card, but a performance card indeed.

NVIDIA sure took its time to launch the first graphics card using the latest 28nm technology, but when finally there it didn't take long for more to follow. Besides GeForce GTX 690 that is soon to come, the company has another two cards coming, also based on the GK104 chip.

Gigabyte recently presented the SuperOverclocked version of GeForce GTX 680, and the biggest news is an odd cooling creation called WindForce 5X. More detailed pictures have now surfaced, which reveal more about the design of the big cooler.

Yesterday we wrote about two new graphics cards from NVIDIA and we said that the cheaper cards of the 600 series would take long to arrive. We now hear that cheaper versions are surfacing, inlcuding GK107 that has already been seen in a notebook.

AMD is not holding back when putting the final thouches to ies first graphics card with dual 28nm cirucits. Radeon HD 7990 will according to new rumors get two fully equipped Tahiti XT circuits with 2048 Radeon cores each, clocked at 850 MHz and 6GB GDDR5 memory to go with that.
